Luc Mbah a Moute has written his name in the annals of Cameroon basketball.
He became the first Cameroonian to play an NBA Conference final. His team Houston Rockets defeated Utah Jazz (4-1) in the best of seven matches. Drafted in the 37th position by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2008, the 32- year-old forward who has played for five different Franchise (Milwaukee Bucks (2008- 2013), Sacremento Kings (2013), Minnesota Timberwolves (2013-2014), Philadelphia 76ers (2014-2015) and Los Angeles Clippers (2015-2017) equally plays for the Cameroon National Basketball Team since 2007.
Injured during the second half of the NBA season after a brilliant start, Mbah a Moute and his teammates would face Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Final when we were going to press. A victory for Moute and his teammates would qualify them for the NBA Playoffs. Mbah a Moute’s twin brother played basketball for the Texas State University. He equally discovered Cameroonian Center Joel Embiid who was Third overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft playing for Philadelphia 76ers and Forward Pascal Siakam 27th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft playing with Toronto Raptors.
