One of my best souvenirs of the village was when I went to the village during the long holidays. I just returned from the boarding school and by then I was around twelve years. I went to the village in Bandjoun and suprisingly my younger brother came from Douala and my cousins equally came from Yaounde. It had been like five years we didn’t see each other. I had company to play with and our grandmother prepared nice dishes. It was fun all through and I confess I miss such even now because since then we have not had the chance to meet in village again.»
