The sea of persons who thronged the Yaounde Sports Complex on Saturday, 28 December 2019 to elect the successor of Caroline Nseke, outgoing Miss Cameroon, was enough proof. The ceremony, attended among others by Arts and Culture Minister, Bidoung Mkpatt, was colourful, the ambiance was at its top, and the suspense was heart-breaking for both spectators and 20 beauty queen contestants.
Deafening cheers and screams accompanied the election of Audrey Nabila Monkam as Cameroon’s most beautiful lady in 2020. At 24, the Banking and Finance First Degree holder enters the annals of history as the first indigene of Bali Nyongha in the North West Region to clinch the coveted Miss Cameroon crown.
